The marquise is set east to west and flanked by two round diamonds in milgrain bezels, forming a neat three-stone centre. Around them, four bands weave in and out: two channel rows of baguettes and two arcs of claw-set round brilliants, each curving over or under the centre so the design reads like interlaced loops of light. Towards the back, the loops gather into a plain, polished gold shank. It wears like a wide band, with enough presence for festive dressing and enough polish for the office.
