How to Choose Diamond Hoop Earrings

Hoop size for face shape. Smaller hoops suit all face shapes. Larger hoops can overpower narrow or small faces. For daily wear, 14mm to 18mm is the most flattering range across most face shapes.

Setting coverage. Full-set hoops have diamonds across the entire front face. Half-set has diamonds on the top half only. Full-set maximises sparkle. Half-set is lighter and more comfortable for small hoop diameters.

•     Origin: Lab grown from a CVD or HPHT laboratory. Natural from earth-mined sources.

•     Secondary market: Lab grown has a lower secondary resale market at this time. Natural diamonds have an established resale market. Worth knowing before purchase.
