The band is built from several raised ridges of polished gold that run all the way around the finger, catching light in fine parallel lines. At the centre, the round brilliant interrupts the ridges and becomes the single point of sparkle. Because the diamond sits within the band rather than high above it, there is very little to catch on clothing, which makes this an easy ring to wear every day, on its own or stacked with plain bands. Approximately 5 g of 14K gold gives it a solid, comfortable feel.
