The top of the ring is a fan of pointed, petal-shaped gold frames, joined at their tips into an open lattice, with each frame holding diamonds. Beneath it, a short channel of baguette diamonds sweeps in from one side, and a curved row of claw-set round brilliants runs the full width along the base, so the design rises from a smooth line into a textured crest of petals. The openwork lets light pass right through the lattice. At approximately 4 g of gold, it is easy to wear all day.
